HIV Complexities: A community conversation, 10/16/25

Join us for a conversation that spans generations and settings, both urban and rural, about living with HIV and dealing with complex chronic conditions, which often share symptoms like chronic fatigue, pain, cognitive dysfunction, brain fog, and memory issues.

We’ll talk about how living with HIV and facing other health challenges with symptoms that may fluctuate and even be disabling, and how this affects receiving services and re-entering the workforce.

You’ll hear from community leaders, advocates, and specialists working at the intersection of HIV, chronic illness, and disability justice. Plus, learn about Long COVID Essentials, a practical toolkit for PLHIV and other complex chronic conditions. Together, we’ll explore critical issues of access, care, and quality of life for those navigating multiple health conditions—and highlight strategies for systemic change.

Open to all — with a special invitation to People Living with HIV (PLHIV), healthcare and service providers, advocates, funders, policy makers, and anyone committed to disability justice. This event is part of our HIV Complexities Project.
