
The NYC HIV Planning Council is hosting a special session on HIV + Long COVID, which will feature Gabriel San Emeterio, the director of our HIV Complexities Project, and other experts.

Join the session from 2:10-3:55 to hear from the presenters, followed by a panel discussion and brief public comments. The session is open to the public, and is part of an effort to develop recommendations that will help healthcare providers better understand the intersection of HIV and Long COVID, identify the needs of individuals experiencing it, and determine how to best support their clients.

The Planning Council is a community group that has been appointed by the NYC Mayor, to plan the organization and delivery of HIV services funded by Part A of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act. Each Council member is a caring, dedicated volunteer who has been carefully selected to reflect the diversity of our community. Members represent the general public, people living with HIV, funded service providers, and other health and social service organizations.
