HIV Complexities
Thursday November 12, 6:30-7:30pm ET
Zoom

Join us to learn the basics of Long COVID and associated conditions, and to examine the lasting chronic effects of the HIV and COVID-19 pandemics through the latest data.

We know that HIV and COVID-19 hit hardest in marginalized communities — and we have a long history of creating community solutions when institutions leave us behind. Using disability justice as a framework, we will explore possibilities for collective care, interdependence, and patient-led action through practical resources such as the HIV Complexities Toolkit and Long COVID Essentials.

This event centers Spanish-speaking people affected by or living with HIV, while welcoming everyone! The presentation will be in Spanish, with live interpretation in English, American Sign Language (ASL), and Lengua de Señas Mexicana (LSM), with Deaf interpreters for both ASL and LSM.
